Atrocity Training Department

The Constitution of India has provided social, economic and political justice, equality of status and opportunity to all Indian citizens. Still injustice and atrocities are being committed against Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes in the country. Every year the number of crimes registered under the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 is increasing every year in every district of our state of Maharashtra. The mentality of the society regarding hatred, casteism, untouchability in mind towards Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes has not completely changed yet.
