About IBPS:
- The Banking, Railway, L.I.C. & Clerical category equivalent post Pre-Competitive Examination (IBPS) Project which launched in the year 2011-12 is held through BARTI for the Schedule Caste Category youths in order to enable them to face competitive examinations.
- Till date 35 Districts have conducted the IBPS training programme.
- At present IBPS Coaching Programme is been held through Barti at 8 district in the state of Maharashtra.
Eligibility & Criteria:
- Applicants age should be between 18 to 34 yrs.
- Applicant should be Resident of Maharashtra.
- Applicants must be minimum 12th passed.
- Annual income limited to 8 lakhs.
How to Apply (Bank, Railway, and L.I.C. Exam):
- Advertisement of the regarding training is published through BARTI website and local newspapers.
- After the online/offline application process is completed a 100 marks CET exam is held at the regarding District where the training programme is scheduled.
- Amongst the candidates who have appeared for the exams 150 students are selected on the basis of merit for the training programme of 6 months duration
Facilities:
- A stipend amount of Rs. 6000/- every month is credited to the account of eligible students (75% attendance) for the time period of 6 months training programme.
- A onetime amount of Rs. 5000/- is credited by DBT to the students for book sets and other educational requirements.

Total 36270 students are been trained from the FY 2012-13 to 2024-25
- A total of 24870 students have been trained during the period 2012-13 to 2019-20, out of which a total of 3588 students have received government/semi-government job opportunities.
- After the Covid-19 pandemic out of the 2400 students trained during the period 2022-23 to 2024 the Compilation of information of how many students have received job opportunities is in process.
