SKILL DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT

A project is being implemented to provide residential and non-residential free skill development training in various fields to the scheduled caste youth of Maharashtra in the age group of 18 to 45 through Barti Pune, an autonomous organization of the Government of Maharashtra. In this project, unemployed scheduled caste youths of Maharashtra are given training in various technical as well as non-technical courses from reputed training institutes. Various employment opportunities are provided to the youth who successfully complete the training.

Eligibility Required for Registration:

1. Candidate should be a resident of Maharashtra.
2. Candidate should belong to Scheduled Caste
3. Candidate should have Scheduled Caste certificate.
4. The candidate should possess the educational qualification required for the skill development training course.
5. Candidate should have strong desire to get employment in any place.

From the year 2013, through the Skill Development Department under Barti Pune, various types of skill development training is being given to the Scheduled Caste youth and women for employment and also entrepreneurship development training is being given to encourage young entrepreneurs.
