Scanning and Digitization


About the Department

Scanning and Digitization was started by the order of Hon’ble Mumbai High Court after the petition No. 2760/2012 filed by Mr. Anil Gawali against Maharashtra State Government for scanning and digitizing the old record of caste validity certificates for storing data permanently. Project was initialized on 13th October 2014.

Following are the different programs under the department:

Vision

To make the digitized data of all the cases (documents) by Caste Validity Committee (CVC) and making archival of this data and authorizing it’s access to the concerned person(s).

 

Mission

  • To make the digitized data of all the cases (documents) by Caste Validity Committee (CVC) and making archival of this data and authorizing it’s access to the concerned person(s).
  • To interlink the documents of all the 15 Divisional Caste Scrutiny Committees across the Maharashtra state
  • To interlink the documents of all the competent authorities who issues the case certificates.
  • To provide a online platform for accepting the online application-forms by the applicants and informing them the current status of their application-form.
