About the Department
Special Cell provides services to citizens belonging to the Scheduled Caste and especially for the women. Research has concluded that representatives belonging to SC who are appointed at unorganized/untrained/unskilled workers, less educated housewives, organizations falling under Panchayati Raj (especially at the village level) have a special need for training.
Main Objectives:
On these lines, Special Cell has envisaged following programs in the year 2018-19 for the citizens from scheduled caste and especially women.
Project 1 – Domestic Worker Training
Today 460 domestic worker ladies got trained. Such trainings are very beneficial and currently batches initiated by conducting meetings at 20 centers of Cities Aurangabad, Nagpur, Mumbai, Pune and Nashik. Going forward, training will be conducted at big metro cities. Main aim of Domestic worker training is to develop financial and social progress of bottom up schedule caste women. Training focus is on women’s personality development, body cleaning, make use of equipment etc. in addition to free ladies medical checkup, security from local police and it is a need to train to make them to learn basic of language and it is currently going on. Those who are learning are given 1500/- educational fund, kitchen kit and getting certificate after training. BARTI’s Domestic worker Training program is first initiative of India. This program has helped many ladies.

Special Cell of BARTI is helping to conduct such program the developed ladies as a member are working as a cleaner (domestic worker), needy and new ladies for them Project Director Smt. Pradnya Waghmare meets those who are at the bottom of society. Qualification for Domestic Worker Training
Project 2 – Self Help Group Workshop
Training has been given on Personal Development & Marketing strategy to 150 self-help groups. As on today ,3500 self-help groups have been registered with BARTI.
Project 3 –Newly appointed Corporator training
As per Social Ministry, schemes for Schedule caste people should reach people. BARTI’s vision is to make people aware of Govt. Schemes. BARTI takes training of newly appointed Corporator. As per Government Schemes Corporators are guided so that the schemes will reach to city and town people

BARTI takes training of newly appointed Sarpanch, deputy Sarpanch. As per Government Schemes Sarpanch, Deputy Sarpanch are guided so that the schemes will reach to village people

Project 5 –Sport Training
Governmental Sweepers son-daughters residential school at Yerwada, at this place young boys/girls program of 9 types to validate sport skill (e.g. 30 m speed running, long jump by standing, 800 m run, high jump, 6X10 shuttle run, flexibility, medicine ball throw, weight, height) get conducted. 50 students get selected after testing participants. Government Sport Department appointed sport teacher is considered as aim to students joining the school are trained to get maximum score to get selected. For that one athletics trainer is appointed.

Project 6 –Right To Education (RTE)2009 ACT
BARTI has conducted offline survey for 75689 scheduled Caste children to get to get admission under the RTE Act 2009.under this activity 16227 children got selected in reputed primary school out of 64807.These online applications have been filled by Samtadoot throughout Maharashtra.

Project 7 – Counseling for Students Passing JEE Entrance
Short-term counseling training programs are proposed by Barti to raise the morale of candidates who have passed the examination (joint entrance exam-mains and advanced) in the Indian Institute of Technology.
