About the Department

Library, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Research and Training Institute (BARTI).BARTI has a huge Library,established in 1978 as a Public library under the GR no. UTC- 1078 A / D- 25.The Institute library has a rich collection of around 10000 books, which includes Social Justice based on Dalit Sahitya, Political Science, Economics, Literature, Law and Justice, Reference books, Periodicals and Government Documents: Rules, Annual Reports, Manuals, Handbooks and Various Committee Reports. The library possesses a good collection of titles in English and Marathi fiction, as well as biographies etc. Also we have collection of Thesis ofresearch scholarshipholder Ph D, M.Phil. students.The library has provided a 24 hrs. open study room facility in Yerawada Campus for Competitive exams student, like MPSC / UPSC, Banking Exams, Railway Recruitment and all other Government Exams.The library subscribes popular magazines and daily newspapers. The Institute library also has a membership of certain other libraries in the city (British Library)and government officers/ BARTI staff can avail the facilities of these other libraries.Library is fully computerized from year 2016 with its OPAC accessible

  • Maximum 20 pages can be photocopied from a book. Entire book cannot be photocopied. Ph.D. Thesis and Dissertations Cannot Be Photocopied.

Paid Guest Membership: Guest Faculty/Government Officer/Retired Officers/Researchers/Ex-BARTI Faculty & Staff/Ex-Deputation Faculty,

Fees: Rs.100/- Per month

Deposit: 1000/- (For 1 book at a time) (Refundable Diposit)

 

We have started Membership for Student Also.

Deposit: 500/- (Refundable Diposit)
