Publication Department of BARTI is trying to spread thoughts of Great Social Reformers like Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, Mahatma Jotirao Phule, Savitribai Phule, Chatrapati Shahu Maharaj, Annabhau Sathe etc on Social Justice, Equity, removal of caste bias, brotherhood, removal of superstition, woman empowerment etc. through distribution of Books written on these subjects by well-known authors or by Social Reformers themselves. Publication Department of BARTI distributes the books to various types of Beneficiaries in all over Maharashtra for e.g. Schools, Colleges, Libraries, Gram Panchayat, Participants of various training programmes, workshops conducted by BARTI, students, private organizations, Common people etc.
Distributed various books based on Social Justice & Equity including the books on
Distributed above books by giving 85% discount to various stakeholders in the Society during various events
Provided set of books free of cost to all Grampanchayats, Residential Government Schools, Colleges, Political Representatives, NGO, Youth Mandals and Social Activists in Maharashtra
Initiated the Project of Translation of Pali Tripitaka into Marathi in collaboration with Pali Department of Savitribai Phule Pune University
Provided extensive support to NGO for making 100% literate Village about Indian Constitution named Laveri , Tal- Bhor, Dist - Pune
Conducted various State Level Quiz, Poem, Singing, Drama, Elocution, Lectures, Workshops & Writing Competitions etc to make awareness of the work done by Various Great Social Reformers for establishing Social Justice & Equity in society.
Celebration of Social Reformers Birth Anniversary by organising various cultural activities as well as organising book distribution stalls.
Provided Youth Leadership Development training to 660 candidates successfully.
Project 1 – Domestic Worker Training
The main objective of this training program is to uplift the living standards of unorganized / unskilled women workers as well as unemployed women of Scheduled Castes. Barti "Domestic Worker" training is the first of its kind in India. In the year 2016-17, this training program was first implemented on an experimental basis in Pune. Since then, in the year 2017-18, ten batches have been successfully completed in Pune, Nashik, Nagpur, and Aurangabad in which 460 women have been trained and employment opportunities have been provided.
The training program provides women with personality development, physical hygiene, equipment handling etc. Information as well as free medical checkup of women, Rs. 1500/- per trainee, kitchen kit and certificate have been given.
Project 2 – Self Help Group Workshop
The purpose of this training program is to guide the women belonging to the Scheduled Caste Self Help Groups to develop their business by guiding them on business personality development and marketing strategies. In the year 2016-17, a self-help group registration meet was organized at Aurangabad through a special cell. At that time 3000 savings groups have been registered. Also, a one-day workshop on Personality Development and Marketing Policy for Self Help Group Presidents was held in 2017-18 at Pune and Aurangabad. The benefit of this workshop has been taken by 150 self-help group presidents.
Project 3 – Training to newly elected corporators
In the year 2017-18, training programs were organized for the newly elected corporators at Pune Municipal Corporation, Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation and Solapur Municipal Corporation. The main objective of this workshop is to implement the schemes implemented for the people of Scheduled Castes in Barti. Such a scheme was to reach out to the people at the grassroots level through the corporators and get their benefits. The training workshop was attended by 80 corporators.
Project 4 – Right To Education (RTE)2009 ACT
In the academic year 2017-18, help centers were set up on an experimental basis by Samatadoots at Pune and Aurangabad through Barti offices. During the academic years 2017-18 to 2020-21, offline and online applications of deprived children were filled through Samatadoots all over Maharashtra. A total of 75,689 children were surveyed offline. Also, online applications of 64,807 children were filled through Samatadoots. Out of these, 16,227 children have benefited.
